UNSPSC 10423600: Dried cut rumex or dock flowers

Dried cut blooms of rumex or dock flowers

UNSPSC 10423600 Dried cut rumex or dock flowers is a Class code with minimal alignment to recent state and local procurement activity. The code nominally refers to a narrow botanical commodity—dried cut dock flowers used in floral arrangements or botanical applications—but the two recent opportunities tagged under it do not reflect this scope. Pinellas County's five-year environmental planting and monitoring contract (RFP 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) solicits invasive plant removal, native plant installation, wetland restoration, and environmental monitoring services across stormwater ponds and waterways—live ecological management work, not dried flowers. Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies procurement (RFB 26-0014, due February 25, 2026) seeks general craft and hobby materials for parks and recreation programming, with no mention of botanical goods. Neither opportunity represents the dried flower commodity the UNSPSC code describes.

The code shows no authentic recent activity in its stated commodity class. The tagging appears to be a classification error, as neither Pinellas County nor Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting dried cut dock flowers or related dried botanical products. State and local buyers using this code accurately would be rare; if pursuing activity under this UNSPSC classification, verify the actual commodity scope directly with the issuing body before bidding, as the current tagged opportunities do not reflect dried flower work.
