UNSPSC 10422700: Dried cut calatheas

Dried cut blooms of calatheas

UNSPSC 10422700 Dried cut calatheas is a Class code that shows minimal alignment with recent state and local procurement activity. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code are an environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services contract from Pinellas County, Florida (RFP 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) and an arts and craft supplies procurement from Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia (RFB 26-0014, due February 25, 2026). Neither solicitation involves dried cut calatheas or any horticultural products—the Pinellas County work centers on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland ecological restoration across stormwater and surface water sites, while the Columbus procurement covers general craft and recreational supplies for parks and recreation departments. The code appears to have been applied without substantive connection to the actual scope of work being purchased.

State and local buyers have not posted recent opportunities for dried cut calatheas under this code. The geographic spread of the two posted opportunities (Florida and Georgia) and the issuing-body mix (a county environmental services program and a city parks department) offer no signal of active demand for the commodity itself. Until evidence of genuine procurement activity under this code emerges in state and local RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, or ITBs, the code does not present a viable business development target for vendors in this product category.
