UNSPSC 10418321: Dried cut leucospermum secundifolium

Dried cut blooms of the secundifolium variety of leucospermums

UNSPSC 10418321 Dried cut leucospermum secundifolium is a Commodity code that maps poorly to actual state and local procurement activity. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code—Pinellas County's environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services contract and Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies procurement—bear no clear relationship to dried leucospermum flowers or similar botanical products. The environmental services solicitation focuses on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland restoration across multiple site types; the arts and craft supplies solicitation addresses general recreation program consumables for parks and recreation divisions. Neither opportunity describes procurement of dried flowers, botanical specimens, or horticultural materials that would align with the code's stated commodity scope.

The code shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The two posted opportunities represent a mismatch between the UNSPSC categorization and the actual work being solicited, suggesting either a tagging error in the state and local procurement system or minimal purchasing of dried leucospermum products by jurisdictions. Business development activity under this code would be premature until clearer, aligned solicitation activity emerges in the target market.
