UNSPSC 10417971: Dried cut vittatum hippeastrum

Dried cut bloom of the vittatum variety of hippeastrum

UNSPSC 10417971 Dried cut vittatum hippeastrum is a Commodity code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity under this classification. The code nominally describes a specific dried floral product, but the two most recent opportunities posted under this code address environmental planting and landscaping services in one instance and arts and craft supplies in the other — neither of which involves dried cut vittatum hippeastrum or dried flowers as a product category. The mismatch suggests either a classification error in how opportunities were tagged or that this code sees minimal relevant procurement activity in the state and local market.

The recent opportunities on record show Pinellas County, Florida issuing an RFP in June 2025 for environmental planting, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance services across a five-year contract period, and Columbus Consolidated Government (Georgia) issuing an IFB in February 2026 for arts and craft and hobby supplies for the Parks and Recreation Department. Neither solicitation addresses dried cut flowers or floral products. Without state and local procurement activity that actually matches the code's scope, this Commodity code does not present a clear market signal for vendors supplying dried cut vittatum hippeastrum to state and local buyers.
