UNSPSC 10417964: Dried cut starkiorum hippeastrum

Dried cut bloom of the starkiorum variety of hippeastrum

UNSPSC 10417964 Dried cut starkiorum hippeastrum is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity under state and local procurement. The code nominally describes dried cut amaryllis flowers, but the recent opportunities tagged to this code do not reflect that scope. Instead, Pinellas County's environmental planting and monitoring RFP and Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies bid address ecological restoration services and general recreational materials respectively—neither aligned with floriculture or dried botanical products. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the source data or that state and local procurement offices are using this code in ways that diverge significantly from its botanical definition.

The geographic spread is limited to Florida and Georgia based on the two posted opportunities, with no pattern of repeat activity or concentration visible in the sample. No other issuing bodies or recent solicitations supporting the code's stated scope appear in the available records. Absent additional evidence of current state and local procurement demand for dried cut amaryllis or related dried botanical products, this code does not present a clear market signal for pursuit.
