UNSPSC 10417935: Dried cut iguazuanum hippeastrum

Dried cut bloom of the iguazuanum variety of hippeastrum

UNSPSC 10417935 Dried cut iguazuanum hippeastrum is a Commodity code that nominally describes a dried ornamental flowering plant product, but recent state and local procurement activity shows no aligned solicitations under this code. The two most recent opportunities posted under this UNSPSC — Pinellas County's environmental planting and maintenance services (RFP 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) and Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft and recreational supplies procurement (RFB 26-0014, due February 25, 2026) — are unrelated to dried-cut plant materials or floristry products. The environmental services solicitation addresses invasive plant removal, native plant installation, wetland monitoring, and site maintenance across stormwater facilities and parks; the arts and craft procurement seeks general craft and hobby supplies for after-school and recreation programs.

The code shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope — a specific dried ornamental plant variety — and the actual work being solicited suggests either a tagging error in the source opportunities or that this particular commodity does not currently drive meaningful state and local contract volume.
