UNSPSC 10417424: Dried cut yellow waxflower

Dried cut bloom of the yellow variety of waxflowers

UNSPSC 10417424 Dried cut yellow waxflower is a Commodity code that shows no active state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two most recent opportunities tagged under this code involve environmental planting and maintenance services (Pinellas County, Florida) and arts and craft supplies (Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia) — neither of which concerns dried cut yellow waxflower or related floriculture products. The environmental planting solicitation centers on invasive plant removal, native species installation, and wetland ecosystem restoration; the arts and craft supplies solicitation addresses general recreation program materials. The mismatch suggests either miscoding in the opportunities database or that the specific commodity has no recent state and local demand signal.

No relevant recent opportunities under this code are present in the source material, and the geographic spread, issuing-body mix, and scope of work cannot be characterized from solicitations actually soliciting dried cut yellow waxflower or closely related products. Firms pursuing this commodity should verify whether state and local procurement offices are using alternate UNSPSC codes for floral or horticultural products, or whether demand for this specific cut flower variant is dormant in the current state and local market.
