UNSPSC 10417416: Dried cut madonna waxflower

Dried cut bloom of the madonna variety of waxflowers

UNSPSC 10417416 Dried cut madonna waxflower is a Commodity code that represents a narrow product category with minimal recent state and local procurement activity. The two recent opportunities posted under this code do not reflect procurement of dried cut madonna waxflower or related floristry products. Pinellas County's Environmental Planting, Monitoring, Reporting and Maintenance Services RFP (solicitation 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) seeks ecological restoration and native plant installation services across wetlands and stormwater sites, not dried floristry stock. Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies RFB (RFB No. 26-0014, due February 25, 2026) covers general craft and recreational materials for parks programming, which may incidentally include some dried botanicals but represents a broad consumables procurement, not a targeted dried waxflower sourcing effort. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the work actually being solicited suggests this code sees little relevant state and local buying activity.

The geographic spread evident in recent opportunities is limited to Florida (Pinellas County) and Georgia (Columbus), with no additional jurisdictions represented in the available record. The issuing bodies are a county stormwater and parks authority and a municipal parks department—typical state and local customers for floristry or horticulture products—but neither solicitation targets dried waxflower supply. Without substantive evidence of state and local governments actively procuring dried cut madonna waxflower as a discrete product line, this code does not present a clear market signal for business development focus at this time.
