UNSPSC 10413700: Dried cut fritillarias

Dried cut blooms of fritillarias

UNSPSC 10413700 Dried cut fritillarias is a Class code that nominally describes a botanical commodity, but recent state and local solicitations tagged with this code show no alignment with dried botanical products. The two most recent opportunities—an environmental planting and monitoring contract from Pinellas County, Florida, and an arts and craft supplies bid from Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia—fall entirely outside the scope of dried plant material procurement. The environmental planting solicitation seeks native plant installation, invasive species removal, and wetland site maintenance services; the arts and craft bid seeks general recreational supplies for parks departments. Neither represents purchasing activity in dried cut fritillarias or botanicals.

This code shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its nominal classification. The mismatch between the code's stated commodity and the work actually being solicited suggests either miscoding in the state and local procurement systems or minimal real demand for dried cut fritillarias through state and local channels. Business development professionals should verify whether opportunities tagged to this code represent systematic purchasing patterns or isolated classification errors before committing resources to pursue it.
