UNSPSC 10412812: Dried cut wheat pink celosia

Dried cut bloom of the wheat pink variety of celosias

UNSPSC 10412812 Dried cut wheat pink celosia is a Commodity code that maps poorly to the state and local procurement activity the source documents. The code nominally describes a specific dried floral product, but the two recent opportunities posted under this code — one for environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services and one for arts and craft supplies — involve no dried botanicals or celosia whatsoever. The mismatch suggests either tagging error in the source data or procurement offices applying the code to broader horticultural or supply categories that do not align with the code's actual scope. The source does not support characterization of what state and local governments actually buy under this code in any meaningful sense tied to dried cut wheat pink celosia.

Pinellas County, Florida issued an RFP (Solicitation 250628RFP) on June 30, 2025 for Environmental Planting, Monitoring, Reporting and Maintenance Services covering a five-year period from 2025 to 2030, with proposals due July 29, 2025. Columbus Consolidated Government (Georgia) issued a Request for Bids (RFB No. 26-0014) on February 4, 2026 for arts and craft, hobby, and recreational supplies supporting its Department of Parks and Recreation, with bids due February 25, 2026. Neither solicitation involves the product named in the code. No additional opportunities tied to dried cut wheat pink celosia appear in the source. The code shows no recent relevant procurement activity among state and local buyers.
