UNSPSC 10412623: Dried cut posey little suzy calla

Dried cut bloom of the posey little suzy variety of callas

UNSPSC 10412623 Dried cut posey little suzy calla, a Commodity code, shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two recent opportunities tagged to this code — one for environmental planting, monitoring, reporting and maintenance services by Pinellas County, Florida, and one for arts and craft supplies by Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia — represent environmental remediation and recreational supplies purchasing rather than dried floral products. The environmental services opportunity centers on invasive species removal, native plant installation at wetlands and stormwater sites, and permit-compliant monitoring; the arts and craft opportunity covers general supplies for parks and recreation programming. Neither reflects demand for the specific commodity named in the UNSPSC code. State and local procurement offices appear to have applied this code incorrectly to opportunities outside its commodity family, suggesting that this code does not currently reflect active purchasing patterns in the state and local market.

Without recent solicitations actually seeking dried cut posey products, no reliable characterization of issuing-body type, geographic concentration, or representative demand exists for this code. Business development professionals should verify the applicable UNSPSC codes for any target opportunities before pursuing bids under this category, as the recent record does not support active procurement of the commodity itself.
