UNSPSC 10412610: Dried cut posey dark captain romanc calla

Dried cut bloom of the posey dark captain romanc variety of callas

UNSPSC 10412610 Dried cut posey dark captain romanc calla is a Commodity code that shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code—an environmental planting and wetland management services contract from Pinellas County, Florida, and an arts and craft supplies procurement from Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia—fall outside the scope of dried cut flowers entirely. The environmental services solicitation centers on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, wetland ecology, and regulatory monitoring; the arts and craft supplies contract addresses recreation program inventory. Neither represents demand for dried cut posies or floral products of any kind. The code's nominal scope does not align with the opportunities currently being tagged under it in state and local procurement systems.

The mismatch suggests either a data-entry error in how these opportunities were classified or a fundamental disconnection between the UNSPSC taxonomy label and actual purchasing behavior in this corner of the state and local market. A firm pursuing work under this code should verify the code's current relevance through direct outreach to procurement offices or check whether the code itself has been deprecated or reassigned in active state and local buying systems.
