UNSPSC 10412214: Dried cut novi belgii lavender aster

Dried cut bloom of the novi belgii lavender variety of asters

UNSPSC 10412214 Dried cut novi belgii lavender aster (Commodity) does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under this code. The two posted opportunities show no relevance to dried botanical specimens — one solicits environmental planting, invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland monitoring services; the other seeks arts and craft and recreational supplies. The code's nominal scope (dried cut flowers) and the actual work being procured diverge substantially, suggesting either a tagging error in the source data or minimal legitimate activity under this Commodity code.

Pinellas County, Florida posted an RFP (Solicitation 250628RFP) on June 30, 2025, for environmental planting, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance services covering a five-year term with potential two-year extensions, due July 29, 2025. Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia released a Request for Bids (RFB No. 26-0014) on February 4, 2026, for arts and craft, hobby, and recreational supplies for its Parks and Recreation Department on an as-needed basis, with responses due February 25, 2026. Neither opportunity involves botanical products or related procurement. Activity under this code appears sparse and misaligned with its stated commodity classification.
