UNSPSC 10411728: Dried cut santiago alstroemeria

Dried cut bloom of the santiago variety of alstroemerias

UNSPSC 10411728 Dried cut santiago alstroemeria is a Commodity code that in recent state and local solicitations does not correspond to the product name. The two most recent opportunities tagged to this code — an environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services contract from Pinellas County, Florida, and an arts and craft supplies procurement from Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia — involve native plant installation and ecosystem restoration services and recreational craft supplies, respectively, neither of which relates to dried cut flowers. The code's nominal scope (dried cut alstroemeria for floral arrangements or décor) does not align with what is actually being solicited under it in the state and local market.

State and local procurement activity under this code shows little relevant recent opportunity. The two most recently posted opportunities are environmental services (Pinellas County RFP 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) and recreational supplies (Columbus Consolidated Government RFB No. 26-0014, due February 25, 2026), neither of which involve dried or cut flowers. A sourcing professional evaluating this code should verify the correct UNSPSC code for dried floral products or consider whether state and local buyers in their target jurisdictions actually use this taxonomy designation for such materials.
