UNSPSC 10402863: Dried cut salsa spray rose

Dried cut bloom of the salsa spray variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402863 Dried cut salsa spray rose is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The two most recent opportunities tagged to this code—environmental planting and monitoring services from Pinellas County, Florida, and arts and craft supplies from Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia—fall outside the nominal scope of dried ornamental flowers. The environmental planting RFP centers on invasive species removal, native plant installation, wetland ecology, and regulatory compliance across stormwater ponds and surface water conveyances, while the arts and craft solicitation covers general hobby and recreational supplies for parks and recreation programs. Neither opportunity involves procurement of dried cut salsa spray roses or related dried floral products.

State and local procurement activity under this code does not support a pursue recommendation at this time. The mismatch between the code's stated commodity and the actual work being solicited indicates either miscoding by the issuing jurisdictions or limited real-world demand for this specific dried flower product in the state and local market. A business development professional tracking this code should monitor future postings for genuine salsa spray rose demand, but current signals suggest the code is not actively transacting in state and local procurement.
