UNSPSC 10402855: Dried cut red hero spray rose

Dried cut bloom of the red hero spray variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402855 Dried cut red hero spray rose is a Commodity code that covers ornamental dried floral products for decorative and landscaping applications. The recent state and local solicitations using this code, however, reflect a significant mismatch with the nominal product category—the opportunities posted involve environmental planting and monitoring services, and arts and craft supplies, neither of which align with dried cut flowers. The code shows little relevant recent activity for its stated product scope among state and local buyers.

Pinellas County, Florida issued an RFP (Solicitation 250628RFP) on June 30, 2025, for Environmental Planting, Monitoring, Reporting and Maintenance Services covering a five-year contract period through 2030, with proposals due July 29, 2025. Columbus Consolidated Government's Finance Department Purchasing Division issued a Request for Bids (RFB No. 26-0014) on February 4, 2026, for arts and craft, hobby, and recreational supplies for the Department of Parks and Recreation, with an expected annual spend of $30,000 to $50,000 and a response deadline of February 25, 2026. Neither solicitation involves dried cut floral products. The tagging of these opportunities under the dried red hero spray rose commodity code suggests a cataloging error rather than genuine procurement activity in this product line.
