UNSPSC 10402600: Dried cut white rose

Dried cut blooms of white roses

UNSPSC 10402600 Dried cut white rose is a Class code that does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under it. The two most recent opportunities — environmental planting and maintenance services from Pinellas County, Florida, and arts and craft supplies from Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia — bear no relationship to dried cut white roses or floral products. The environmental contract involves invasive plant removal, native plant installation, wetland monitoring, and ecological restoration across stormwater ponds and surface water conveyances; the arts and craft solicitation covers recreational supplies for parks and recreation programming. Neither solicitation involves floristry, cut flowers, or dried floral materials.

The code shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The mismatch between the UNSPSC classification and actual buying activity suggests either a data entry error in how these opportunities were tagged or that this particular commodity sees minimal demand from state and local jurisdictions. A business development professional evaluating this code should verify with specific procurement offices in target geographies whether demand for dried cut white roses exists before allocating pursuit resources.
