UNSPSC 10402509: Dried cut white sweetheart rose

Dried cut bloom of the white sweetheart variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402509 Dried cut white sweetheart rose is a Commodity code that shows minimal alignment with recent state and local procurement activity. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code—environmental planting and monitoring services from Pinellas County, Florida, and arts and craft supplies procurement from Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia—do not involve dried cut flowers or floral products of any kind. Pinellas County's five-year environmental services RFP focuses on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, wetland monitoring, and regulatory compliance across stormwater and surface water sites; Columbus's arts and craft supplies RFP seeks general hobby and recreational materials for parks and recreation programs. Neither solicitation reflects the dried floral commodity the code nominally describes.

The mismatch between the code designation and actual procurement scope suggests this Commodity code sees little relevant recent activity in state and local government markets. Across the two opportunities in the block, issuing bodies include a county environmental management function and a municipal parks department, spanning Florida and Georgia. Without additional opportunities in the source that actually involve dried cut flowers or related floral products, this code does not present a clear procurement signal for vendors in that category.
