UNSPSC 10402416: Dried cut colorado velvet rose

Dried cut bloom of the colorado velvet variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402416 Dried cut colorado velvet rose is a Commodity code with minimal recent state and local procurement activity aligned to its nominal scope. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code reflect a substantial mismatch: Pinellas County's five-year environmental planting and monitoring contract (RFP 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) centers on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland ecosystem restoration across multiple sites including McMullen Booth Stormwater Pond and McKay Creek—work requiring State Certified Licensed Public Applicator and aquatic category certifications and bearing no relationship to dried cut roses as a commodity. Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies procurement (RFB 26-0014, due February 25, 2026) covers general hobby and recreational items for parks departments at an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 annually and similarly does not involve cut flowers or floral products.

The code shows no recent state and local solicitations for dried cut colorado velvet roses or related floral commodities. The two posted opportunities that carry this UNSPSC tag are environmental services and general supplies procurement—distinct from floriculture. Absent evidence of actual purchasing activity for this specific cut-flower product, the code presents limited pursuit opportunity in the current state and local market.
