UNSPSC 10402303: Dried cut amsterdam rose

Dried cut bloom of the amsterdam variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402303 Dried cut amsterdam rose is a Commodity code that shows minimal alignment with recent state and local procurement activity. The code nominally describes a specific cut-flower product, but the two most recent opportunities posted under it involve environmental services (invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland monitoring) and general arts and craft supplies—neither of which represents dried cut florals or the florist trade that the code's literal name suggests. State and local governments do not appear to be actively soliciting dried cut amsterdam roses as a line-item procurement; the code assignments appear to reflect data-entry or taxonomy-mapping errors rather than genuine market activity for this commodity.

The environmental services opportunity (Pinellas County's RFP 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) and the arts-and-craft supplies bid (Columbus Consolidated Government's RFB 26-0014, due February 25, 2026) represent the only recent opportunities tagged to this code. Neither solicitation involves the dried-cut-flower product the code describes. Firms pursuing state and local procurement in florals, landscaping, or environmental restoration should verify the correct UNSPSC family or class codes before routing resources to this commodity code, as the current activity does not reflect genuine demand for dried cut amsterdam roses in the state and local market.
