UNSPSC 10402205: Dried cut capuccino rose

Dried cut bloom of the capuccino variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402205 Dried cut capuccino rose is a Commodity code that nominally describes a specific horticultural product, but recent state and local solicitations show no purchasing activity aligned with this code. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code — one from Pinellas County for environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services, and one from Columbus Consolidated Government for general arts, craft, hobby, and recreational supplies — bear no relation to dried capuccino rose procurement. The Pinellas County solicitation focuses on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland ecosystem restoration; the Columbus opportunity seeks bulk craft and hobby supplies for recreation programs. Neither opportunity references cut flowers, dried botanicals, or the ornamental horticulture product this code nominally covers.

Without evidence of state and local procurement activity in the actual scope of this Commodity code, no issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or representative opportunities applicable to dried cut capuccino rose can be characterized. The code appears inactive in state and local government contracting, or procurement officers are consistently misapplying it to unrelated environmental and recreational supply work.
