UNSPSC 10402152: Dried cut marjan or pk sensation rose

Dried cut bloom of the marjan or pk sensation variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402152 Dried cut marjan or pk sensation rose is a Commodity code that nominally describes ornamental floral products, but recent state and local solicitation activity under this code shows little alignment with that scope. The two recent opportunities posted against this code involve environmental planting and maintenance services (Pinellas County) and arts and craft supplies procurement (Columbus Consolidated Government), neither of which concern dried cut flowers or rose products. State and local procurement systems occasionally tag opportunities with codes that do not match the actual work being bought; this code appears to be an example of that mismatch. No recent solicitations specifically targeting dried cut marjan or pk sensation rose products have been identified in the current activity block.

Because the recent opportunities are unrelated to the code's nominal scope, this Commodity code shows little relevant purchasing activity for firms supplying dried cut flowers or rose products to state and local governments. Procurement professionals evaluating this code should verify whether state and local buying offices are using an alternative code for dried floral products, or confirm with issuing bodies whether any current or planned solicitations under 10402152 actually target ornamental florals.
