UNSPSC 10402126: Dried cut ensueno rose

Dried cut bloom of the ensueno variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402126 Dried cut ensueno rose is a Commodity code that shows minimal relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code are substantively misaligned with the botanical scope: one solicits comprehensive environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services for wetland and stormwater management across multiple site types in Florida, while the other seeks general arts, craft, hobby, and recreational supplies for a parks department in Georgia. Neither procurement involves the purchase of dried cut flowers or ensueno rose products.

The environmental planting RFP from Pinellas County (Solicitation 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025) and the arts and craft supplies IFB from Columbus Consolidated Government (RFB No. 26-0014, due February 25, 2026) do not reflect buying patterns consistent with the code's nominal product category. State and local governments appear to tag these opportunities under this code without regard to the actual commodity. The code warrants low priority for a firm selling dried cut flowers or related botanical products; the mismatch between code assignment and solicited scope suggests either coding error by issuing offices or that the code captures work unrelated to its stated commodity definition. Firms should verify code applicability directly with issuing bodies before pursuing opportunities posted under 10402126.
