UNSPSC 10402119: Dried cut corvette or red corvette rose

Dried cut bloom of the corvette or red corvette variety of rose

UNSPSC 10402119 Dried cut corvette or red corvette rose is a Commodity code that shows minimal alignment with recent state and local procurement activity. The two opportunities posted under this code — Pinellas County's environmental planting and monitoring services contract and Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies procurement — do not involve dried cut roses or floral products. Pinellas County's solicitation targets invasive and exotic plant removal, native plant installation, wetland monitoring, and environmental site maintenance services; Columbus Consolidated Government seeks discounted arts, craft, hobby, and recreational supplies for parks and recreation programming. Neither opportunity reflects the floral commodity the code nominally describes.

The mismatch between the code taxonomy and actual procurement activity suggests that state and local agencies may be applying this code inaccurately to environmental and general supplies categories, or the code sees insufficient procurement volume in its true scope to generate meaningful activity in state and local markets. Based on the available recent-opportunities data, pursuit under this code carries minimal relevance to suppliers of dried cut corvette rose products.
