UNSPSC 10401962: Dried cut whisper rose

Dried cut bloom of the whisper variety of rose

UNSPSC 10401962 Dried cut whisper rose is a Commodity code that shows minimal recent activity aligned with its nominal scope in state and local procurement. The two recent opportunities tagged to this code both diverge significantly from dried floral products. Pinellas County's February 2026 RFP for Environmental Planting, Monitoring, Reporting and Maintenance Services solicits invasive plant removal, native plant installation, wetland restoration, and environmental monitoring across mitigation sites and stormwater facilities—work that involves living plants and ecological management rather than dried cut flowers. Columbus Consolidated Government's February 2026 Request for Bids for arts and craft, hobby, and recreational supplies seeks general craft materials, hobby supplies, and recreational items for parks and recreation programming, with no floral component mentioned. Neither opportunity reflects procurement of dried cut whisper rose or comparable dried floral products for events, arrangements, landscaping, or other typical end uses.

No recent state and local solicitations support meaningful activity under this code. The geographic distribution of the two unrelated opportunities spans Florida (Pinellas County) and Georgia (Columbus), but neither represents a buying pattern for the product category. Firms evaluating this code should treat it as dormant for state and local procurement purposes and monitor for future activity; current signals do not support active pursuit.
