UNSPSC 10332112: Fresh cut digit pompon chrysanthemum

Fresh cut bloom of the digit variety of pompon chrysanthemum flowers

UNSPSC 10332112 Fresh cut digit pompon chrysanthemum is a Commodity code that does not match the scope of recent state and local procurement activity. The four most-recent opportunities tagged under this code span educational supplies catalog discounts, IT infrastructure reconstruction, hanging flower basket design and maintenance services, and general plant purchases — none of which align with the narrow specification of fresh-cut pompon chrysanthemums. The code shows no recent solicitations for fresh-cut flowers, floral arrangements, or any horticultural product matching its nominal commodity definition.

The geographic distribution across Texas, Georgia, New Mexico, and Texas again reflects the issuing bodies (Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative, DeKalb County, Los Alamos County, and the City of Dallas) pursuing unrelated procurement work. The mismatch between the code's stated scope and actual recent activity suggests either that state and local procurement systems have misclassified these opportunities or that this particular commodity code sees minimal genuine activity in the state and local market. A firm evaluating this code should verify whether it addresses relevant buying activity before committing business development resources.
