UNSPSC 10325402: Fresh cut lavender phlox

Fresh cut bloom of lavender phlox variety of flowers

UNSPSC 10325402 Fresh cut lavender phlox, a Commodity code, does not align with the recent state and local contract opportunities posted under it. The four recent solicitations — a Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative catalog discount bid for educational activities and supplies, a DeKalb County IT infrastructure reconstruction project, a Los Alamos County hanging flower baskets RFP, and a City of Dallas plants purchase — show no evidence of procurement activity focused on fresh cut lavender phlox or horticultural products specific to that cultivar. The Los Alamos County and Dallas opportunities address ornamental plantings and general plant materials, but neither identifies lavender phlox as a specified item. The educational and IT infrastructure solicitations bear no relationship to the code's nominal scope. This code shows little relevant recent activity for lavender phlox procurement at the state and local level.

Without representative opportunities clearly tied to fresh cut lavender phlox, no geographic concentration, repeat issuing bodies, or market characterization can be reliably extracted from the source. Firms evaluating this code should verify whether state and local procurement offices actually use this commodity classification for lavender phlox acquisitions or whether the tagging reflects a data-entry error.
