UNSPSC 10317954: Fresh cut pardinum hippeastrum

Fresh cut bloom of the pardinum variety of hippeastrum

UNSPSC 10317954 Fresh cut pardinum hippeastrum is a Commodity code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity. The four most recent opportunities tagged to this code encompass educational supplies procurement through a cooperative purchasing vehicle, IT infrastructure installation at a county recreation facility, design and maintenance of hanging flower baskets for street beautification, and purchase of general plants for a city facility—none of which involve fresh cut pardinum hippeastrum or cut flowers of any kind. The code shows no relevant recent activity in state and local government purchasing.

The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the work actually being solicited suggests either a cataloging error in how opportunities were tagged or misalignment between the UNSPSC taxonomy as applied in this dataset and the products state and local buyers are actually requesting. No state, county, city, school district, or other issuing body in the recent-opportunities block is purchasing fresh cut hippeastrum or ornamental cut flowers under this code. Business development professionals should confirm the correct UNSPSC classification for cut flower opportunities before pursuing activity in this category.
