UNSPSC 10317200: Fresh cut thistles

Fresh cut blooms of thistles

UNSPSC 10317200 Fresh cut thistles is a Class code that sees minimal recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The recent opportunities tagged to this code—an educational supplies cooperative purchasing vehicle, a tennis center IT infrastructure reconstruction, and hanging flower basket design and maintenance contracts—do not reflect purchases of fresh cut thistles or thistle products. The educational catalog discount bid from Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative encompasses broad educational activities and supplies; the DeKalb County tennis center work is IT and low-voltage infrastructure; and the Los Alamos County and City of Dallas solicitations concern ornamental landscaping services and general plant purchases, neither of which target thistles specifically. State and local governments do not appear to be actively procuring fresh cut thistles as a distinct commodity at this time.

The issuing bodies in the recent opportunities represent a mix of education service cooperatives, county facilities and parks departments, and city procurement offices across Texas, Georgia, and New Mexico. Without recent thistle-specific solicitations, geographic activity cannot be characterized by actual thistle procurement. Vendors pursuing this code should monitor state and local opportunities for landscape maintenance, botanical specimen acquisition, or specialty nursery supply contracts, but current activity does not support active pursuit based on the records available.
