UNSPSC 10302774: Fresh cut tabasco rose

Fresh cut bloom of the tabasco variety of rose

UNSPSC 10302774 Fresh cut tabasco rose is a Commodity code that receives minimal relevant procurement activity from state and local governments. The recent opportunities block shows no solicitations for tabasco roses or cut flowers of any kind. The four most recent opportunities tagged to this code involve educational supplies catalog discounts (Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative, Texas), IT infrastructure reconstruction (DeKalb County, Georgia), hanging flower basket design and maintenance services (Los Alamos County, New Mexico), and general plant purchases without species specification (City of Dallas, Texas). None of these solicitations name tabasco roses as a line item or scope element. The code appears to be either mislabeled in state and local procurement systems or sees no active demand from issuing bodies that file opportunities in public databases.

The geographic spread across recent opportunities spans Texas, Georgia, and New Mexico, but this distribution reflects the broader plant and landscape-services activity that has been incorrectly tagged to the tabasco rose commodity code rather than genuine demand for the specific product. Business development professionals should treat this code as currently inactive for procurement purposes and investigate whether a different UNSPSC code better aligns with horticultural or floral product lines their firm supplies to state and local customers.
