UNSPSC 10302760: Fresh cut okie dokie rose

Fresh cut bloom of the okie dokie variety of rose

UNSPSC 10302760 Fresh cut okie dokie rose is a Commodity code that does not match the work actually being solicited under it in recent state and local procurement. The code nominally describes cut flowers, but the four recent opportunities tagged to it encompass educational supplies cooperative purchasing, IT and low-voltage infrastructure reconstruction, hanging flower basket design and maintenance, and general plant procurement — none of which align with cut flower sales or supply. The mismatch suggests either a data-entry error in the state and local procurement system or that the code has been misapplied at the source.

The geographic spread of tagged opportunities spans Texas (Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative and City of Dallas), Georgia (DeKalb County), and New Mexico (Los Alamos County), but the diversity of work types and the fundamental disconnect between the code's nominal scope and actual solicitation content indicate this code shows little relevant recent activity for cut flower procurement. A business development professional evaluating actual cut flower supply opportunities should verify the correct UNSPSC code through the issuing agencies directly rather than relying on this code's recent posting history.
