UNSPSC 10241608: Live peppermint mini or spray carnation

Live plant including the root ball of the peppermint mini or spray variety of carnations

UNSPSC 10241608 Live peppermint mini or spray carnation is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities posted under it show no procurement activity related to the code's nominal scope. The five most recent records tagged to this code span IT infrastructure installation, landscaping and irrigation systems, coastal dune restoration planting, environmental remediation and native plant installation, and general plant purchases—none of which involve peppermint or spray carnation supply. The mismatch suggests either a cataloging error in the source records or that this code does not reflect actual state and local procurement activity in the current market.

The geographic spread of the misaligned opportunities spans Florida (Pasco County, Collier County, and Pinellas County), Georgia (DeKalb County), and Texas (City of Dallas), with the majority of recent activity concentrated in Florida counties. Without genuine peppermint or spray carnation solicitations appearing in the source, no representative opportunities under the actual code scope can be cited, and pursuit of this code as a vehicle for horticultural procurement would not be warranted based on the available data.
