UNSPSC 10226086: Live ruscus

Live plant including the root ball of ruscus flowers

UNSPSC 10226086 Live ruscus is a Commodity code that does not reflect state and local procurement activity based on recent posted opportunities. The five most recent solicitations tagged to this code cover IT and low-voltage infrastructure reconstruction at a tennis center (DeKalb County, Georgia), landscaping and irrigation installation along a county roadway (Pasco County, Florida), coastal dune stabilization plantings (Collier County, Florida), multi-year environmental restoration and wetland maintenance services (Pinellas County, Florida), and the purchase of unspecified plant materials (City of Dallas, Texas). None of these procurements involve live ruscus or ornamental foliage branches. The code appears to be a miscategorization or data-quality issue in the state and local procurement taxonomy as currently tagged.

The recent opportunities do show activity across four state and local jurisdictions in Florida, Georgia, and Texas — primarily county governments and one city — soliciting landscaping, dune restoration, and environmental planting services through ITBs, IFBs, and RFPs with response dates between February and July 2026. However, because the tagged opportunities do not address live ruscus procurement, this code shows little relevant signal for business development purposes.
