UNSPSC 10226079: Live triteleia

Live plant including the root ball of triteleia flowers

UNSPSC 10226079 Live triteleia is a Commodity code that does not reflect the work actually being solicited under it in recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities posted under this code—IT and low-voltage infrastructure reconstruction, roadside landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune plantings with native species, environmental wetland restoration services, and ornamental plant purchases—bear no connection to live triteleia (a bulbous flowering plant). The code assignment appears to be a data error or misclassification in the state and local procurement systems issuing these solicitations. No relevant opportunities tied to the actual commodity exist in the available recent activity.

State and local procurement bodies across Florida, Georgia, and Texas have posted solicitations under this code, but the work being solicited falls into established landscaping, environmental restoration, and plant supply categories that should be classified under different UNSPSC families. The mismatch signals either systematic miscoding at the jurisdictional level or incomplete taxonomy maintenance within these procurement systems. Business development professionals should treat this code as inactive for its stated commodity and verify the correct classification for any opportunities of actual interest.
