UNSPSC 10226066: Live peruvian apple

Live plant including the root ball of peruvian apple flowers

UNSPSC 10226066 Live Peruvian Apple is a Commodity code that shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The five most recently posted opportunities tagged to this code involve IT infrastructure reconstruction, landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune restoration, environmental planting and monitoring, and general plant purchases — none of which concern Peruvian apples or food commodity procurement. DeKalb County's June 2026 ITB for tennis center IT infrastructure, Pasco County's March 2026 IFB for irrigation system installation along Ridge Road, Collier County's March 2026 Quick Quote for native dune plantings, Pinellas County's February 2026 RFP for environmental planting and monitoring services, and the City of Dallas's January 2026 informal solicitation for general plants all appear to be miscoded against this commodity classification.

The code does not currently signal actionable opportunity volume in state and local procurement. Vendors pursuing work in produce supply, food service logistics, or agricultural commodity distribution should not rely on this UNSPSC code as a market signal in the state and local space. The tagging mismatch suggests either a data quality issue in the underlying procurement database or a need to verify the correct commodity code before building a pursuit strategy.
