UNSPSC 10226050: Live lachenalia romaud

Live plant including the root ball of lachenalia romaud flowers

UNSPSC 10226050 Live lachenalia romaud, a Commodity code, does not align with recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities posted under this code describe landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune restoration planting, environmental remediation and native plant management, IT and low voltage infrastructure, and generic plant purchases — none of which fall within the scope of live lachenalia romaud (a specific bulbous ornamental plant species). State and local procurement offices appear to have misclassified these opportunities within the UNSPSC taxonomy, or the code itself has been applied inconsistently across jurisdictions.

The geographic spread of the four recent opportunities spans Florida (Pasco County, Collier County, and Pinellas County), Georgia (DeKalb County), and Texas (City of Dallas), with posting dates from January through June 2026. The issuing bodies include county governments, a city procurement bureau, and a county services division. Without substantive activity genuinely aligned to the code's commodity definition, the code shows little decision-relevant procurement activity for vendors specializing in live lachenalia romaud or closely related plant materials.
