UNSPSC 10226027: Live edelweiss

Live plant including the root ball of edelweiss flowers

UNSPSC 10226027 Live edelweiss, a Commodity code, does not align with recent state and local procurement activity under this classification. The five most recent opportunities tagged to this code involve IT and low-voltage infrastructure installation at a Georgia recreation facility, landscaping and irrigation systems installation along a Florida roadway, coastal dune native plantings in Florida, environmental restoration and invasive plant management services in Florida, and generic plant purchases by the City of Dallas — none of which involve edelweiss or similar specialty horticultural products. The code appears dormant for state and local procurement purposes, or the tagging reflects a data misalignment rather than actual buying activity in this commodity category.

No state and local opportunities soliciting live edelweiss or related specialty alpine plants have been identified in recent activity. The geographic spread of the few opportunities tagged to this code concentrates in Florida (Pasco, Collier, and Pinellas counties) and includes single postings from Georgia and Texas, but none reflect demand for the product the code nominally describes.
