UNSPSC 10226016: Live clematis recta purpurea

Live plant including the root ball of clematis recta purpurea flowers

UNSPSC 10226016 Live clematis recta purpurea, a Commodity code, does not reflect the work actually being solicited under this code in recent state and local procurement activity. The five recent opportunities posted between January and June 2026 span landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune restoration with native plantings, environmental site management with invasive species removal and native plant installation, IT and low-voltage infrastructure for a recreation facility, and generic plant purchases — none of which involve clematis recta purpurea or horticultural nursery stock by species. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual solicitations suggests this code shows little relevant recent activity, or the opportunities have been tagged incorrectly in the underlying procurement system.

The opportunities that do appear originate from county and municipal issuing bodies in Florida (Pasco County, Collier County, Pinellas County, DeKalb County Georgia) and Texas (City of Dallas), and reflect broader landscape construction, native ecosystem restoration, and general plant procurement rather than ornamental clematis supply. Without solicitations that match the code's stated commodity, the code does not support a meaningful business development signal for firms pursuing contracts under this specific UNSPSC designation.
