UNSPSC 10218345: Live leucospermum saxosum

Live plant including the root ball of the saxosum variety of leucospermums

UNSPSC 10218345 Live leucospermum saxosum is a Commodity code that does not reflect the work actually being solicited under it in recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities tagged to this code cover landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune restoration with native plantings, environmental site remediation and monitoring, IT and low-voltage infrastructure, and general plant procurement — none of which involve leucospermum saxosum (a protea species native to South Africa). The mismatch suggests either a data-entry error in the tagging system or a fundamental misalignment between the code's botanical scope and the purchasing practices of the issuing bodies. State and local procurement activity under this code identifier shows little or no relevant recent opportunities for suppliers of live leucospermum saxosum plants.

No decision-relevant activity supports pursuit of this code as currently tagged. Buyers seeking native Florida dune plantings (Collier County), environmental restoration services (Pinellas County), general landscape materials (Pasco County), or ornamental plants (City of Dallas) are not sourcing leucospermum saxosum. If your firm supplies this species, search for landscape design and groundcover procurement opportunities under broader horticultural and native-planting codes rather than relying on this commodity designation.
