UNSPSC 10217960: Live reticulatum hippeastrum

Live plant including the root ball of the reticulatum variety of hippeastrum

UNSPSC 10217960 Live reticulatum hippeastrum, a Commodity code, does not align with the state and local procurement activity posted under this code. The recent opportunities block contains solicitations for IT and low-voltage infrastructure reconstruction, landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune restoration planting, environmental site management and native plant installation, and general plant purchasing—none of which correspond to the live reticulatum hippeastrum (amaryllis) classification. The mismatch suggests either a cataloging error in the source data or that this Commodity code has been applied to opportunities where it does not belong. State and local governments do purchase plants, plants and landscaping services through formal solicitation, but the recent records do not substantiate activity specifically under this code as named.

No current opportunities targeting live reticulatum hippeastrum as a discrete commodity have been identified in the recent state and local contract opportunities block. The code shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its nominal scope.
