UNSPSC 10217327: Live french toyota tulip

Live plant including the root ball of the french toyota variety of tulips

UNSPSC 10217327 Live french toyota tulip (Commodity) shows minimal alignment between its nominal code name and actual state and local procurement activity. Recent opportunities posted under this code involve landscape construction, nursery plants and products procurement, and IT infrastructure — work that does not correspond to the code's stated name. The sourced records show issuing bodies from two states (Florida and Georgia) soliciting landscape materials, plants, and infrastructure work that appears to have been tagged with this code despite lacking clear relevance to its apparent intent.

The geographic activity centers on Florida (Pasco County and the City of Altamonte Springs) and Georgia (DeKalb County), with recent solicitations including Pasco County's IFB for median landscape and irrigation construction along Little Road (due October 6, 2026); the City of Altamonte Springs' ITB for nursery plants and products on an as-needed basis with an initial one-year term commencing October 1, 2026 (re-bid with bids due July 29, 2026); and DeKalb County's ITB for DeKalb Tennis Center reconstruction including IT and low-voltage infrastructure (due July 13, 2026). The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the work actually being bought suggests this code may not be the appropriate UNSPSC classification for these opportunities or that the data reflects a tagging error.
