UNSPSC 10217208: Live eryngium tinkerbell thistle

Live plant including the root ball of the eryngium tinkerbell variety of thistles

UNSPSC 10217208 Live eryngium tinkerbell thistle is a Commodity code that shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The five most recent opportunities tagged under this code involve IT and low-voltage infrastructure installation for a recreation facility, roadside landscaping and irrigation systems, coastal dune restoration plantings, environmental wetland and stormwater site management, and general plant purchase for city operations — none of which represent procurement of live eryngium tinkerbell thistle or specialty cut flowers. The mismatch between the code's defined product and the actual work being solicited suggests either systematic misclassification in the source data or that this code does not see meaningful activity in state and local procurement channels.

Recent issuing bodies have included DeKalb County (Georgia), Pasco County (Florida), Collier County (Florida), Pinellas County (Florida), and the City of Dallas (Texas), spanning county governments, municipalities, and special-purpose districts across the Southeast and Southwest. Activity is concentrated in Florida and Georgia. Without recent opportunities genuinely aligned to the code's commodity definition, this category presents no actionable procurement signal for vendors in the live eryngium tinkerbell thistle supply chain at this time.
