UNSPSC 10215480: Live sonata nimph lily

Live plant including the root ball of the sonata nimph variety of lilies

UNSPSC 10215480 Live sonata nimph lily, a Commodity code, does not show recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The five recent opportunities tagged under this code span IT infrastructure installation, landscape and irrigation construction, coastal dune restoration planting, environmental remediation services, and general plant procurement—none of which correspond to the acquisition of live sonata nimph lily plants or related botanical commodities. The mismatch between code designation and actual work solicited suggests either miscoding in the source records or that this Commodity code does not reflect current state and local purchasing patterns.

No representative opportunities under this code involve the product or service line the Commodity name implies. The issuing bodies in the recent block (DeKalb County, Georgia; Pasco County, Florida; Collier County, Florida; Pinellas County, Florida; and the City of Dallas, Texas) are soliciting landscape installation, irrigation systems, dune restoration, environmental monitoring and planting services, and general plants—categories that fall under related but distinct UNSPSC families and classes. Vendors considering pursuit of work under UNSPSC 10215480 should verify that actual opportunities are properly coded to this Commodity and conduct independent market research to determine whether state and local jurisdictions are actively procuring this specific plant species or product line.
