UNSPSC 10215428: Live love longiflorum and asiatic hybrid lily

Live plant including the root ball of the love longiflorum and asiatic hybrid variety of lilies

UNSPSC 10215428 Live love longiflorum and asiatic hybrid lily is a Commodity code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity posted under it. Of three recent opportunities tagged with this code, one involves median landscape and irrigation construction in Pasco County, Florida; another covers general nursery plants and products (annuals, potted plants, plugs, grass seeds, and trees) procured by the City of Altamonte Springs, Florida; and the third addresses IT and low-voltage infrastructure for a tennis center in DeKalb County, Georgia. None of these solicitations target live longiflorum or asiatic hybrid lilies specifically. The code shows little relevant recent activity in the scope it nominally describes.

The geographic spread of the three posted opportunities spans Florida (Pasco County and Altamonte Springs) and Georgia (DeKalb County). Issuing bodies include a county board of commissioners, a city, and a county government. Representative recent opportunities include an ITB posted by the City of Altamonte Springs on August 24, 2026 for nursery plants and products on an as-needed basis (response due July 29, 2026), and an ITB posted by Pasco County on September 2, 2026 for median landscape and irrigation construction Phase II along Little Road (response due October 6, 2026). The mismatch between the code's stated commodity and the actual work being solicited suggests the code may be misapplied in state and local procurement systems or that the taxonomy does not capture the specificity of the botanical materials state and local governments are actually purchasing.
