UNSPSC 10215404: Live asiatic electric lily

Live plant including the root ball of the asiatic electric variety of lilies

UNSPSC 10215404 Live asiatic electric lily is a Commodity code that state and local governments are not actively procuring under. The recent opportunities posted against this code—a tennis center IT infrastructure rebuild in DeKalb County, Georgia; a road landscaping and irrigation project in Pasco County, Florida; a coastal dune restoration initiative in Collier County, Florida; environmental wetland planting and monitoring services in Pinellas County, Florida; and a general plant purchase in Dallas, Texas—involve landscaping, native plant installation, dune stabilization, and site restoration work with no connection to live asiatic electric lilies as a discrete product line. The code's nominal scope (a single aquatic plant species) bears no relationship to the scope of work actually being solicited across these opportunities, which encompass infrastructure installation, invasive species removal, dune planting programs, and broad nursery plant procurement.

The mismatch between the code and the opportunities indicates that UNSPSC 10215404 does not represent a meaningful procurement category for state and local buyers. The issuing bodies involved—county commissions and municipal governments in Florida, Georgia, and Texas—are purchasing broad-based landscaping and environmental services, not live asiatic electric lilies by name. No pattern of relevant recent activity supports pursuing business under this code.
