UNSPSC 10214608: Live green bihai heliconia

Live plant including the root ball of the green bihai variety of heliconias

UNSPSC 10214608 Live green bihai heliconia, a Commodity code, shows little relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities tagged under this code involve IT and low voltage infrastructure installation for a tennis center reconstruction in Georgia, landscaping and irrigation systems along a county road in Florida, coastal dune plantings using native vegetation in Florida, environmental restoration and invasive plant removal services across multiple Florida sites, and general plant purchases by the City of Dallas—none of which align with procurement of live green bihai heliconia as an ornamental or horticultural product line. The mismatch suggests either systematic misclassification of these opportunities at the time of posting or that the code itself captures a narrow product category rarely solicited by state and local buyers.

Without evidence of actual bihai heliconia procurement in recent state and local RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB activity, this code does not present a clear opportunity profile. Firms considering pursuit should verify whether state and local procurement offices in their target geographies actively use this code, and whether opportunities posted under it genuinely solicit live plants rather than broader landscaping, construction, or environmental services that have been miscoded by the issuing body.
