UNSPSC 10213405: Live prince of whales erica

Live plant including the root ball of the prince of whales variety of ericas

UNSPSC 10213405 Live prince of whales erica — a Commodity code — does not map to the work state and local governments are actually procuring under this category. The three recent opportunities tagged to this code span landscape and irrigation construction, nursery plants and products for landscaping, and IT and low-voltage infrastructure for a tennis center reconstruction. These solicitations address grounds maintenance, grounds beautification, and facilities infrastructure — work that falls outside the code's stated scope and suggests either a data-entry error in the source material or a fundamental mismatch between the UNSPSC taxonomy assignment and the procurement activity it purports to describe. The code shows no coherent thread connecting the three opportunities and no clear pattern of what state and local agencies are buying when they use this code.

The issuing bodies include Pasco County (Florida) Board of County Commissioners, the City of Altamonte Springs (Florida), and DeKalb County (Georgia). Recent activity is concentrated in Florida and Georgia. Pasco County's IFB IFBKM27004 for Little Road Medians Phase II landscape and irrigation construction closed October 6, 2026. The City of Altamonte Springs issued ITB 26-085-KY on an as-needed basis for nursery plants and products, spanning annuals, potted plants, plugs, grass seeds, and trees, with bids due July 29, 2026 and contract commencement October 1, 2026. DeKalb County's ITB 2026-076-ITB for DeKalb Tennis Center reconstruction, including IT and low-voltage infrastructure, closed July 13, 2026. The code's assignment to these unrelated work streams limits its utility for business development targeting.
