UNSPSC 10212645: Live posey solemio calla

Live plant including the root ball of the posey solemio variety of callas

UNSPSC 10212645 Live posey solemio calla (Commodity) shows no coherent recent state and local procurement activity under this code. The most recent solicitations tagged to this code are a DeKalb County IT infrastructure project for a tennis center reconstruction, a Pasco County roadway landscaping and irrigation installation, Collier County coastal dune plantings, Pinellas County environmental mitigation and native plant installation services, and a Dallas Parks and Recreation plants purchase — spanning construction technology, landscape irrigation, native dune restoration, wetland ecology services, and general horticultural supply. None of these procurements involve the specific product or service this code nominally describes. The code appears to have been assigned inconsistently or incorrectly to opportunities whose primary scope falls under different UNSPSC families addressing landscape construction, environmental restoration, or general plant supply.

The geographic spread includes Florida (DeKalb County, Pasco County, Collier County, Pinellas County) and Texas (City of Dallas), with the most concentrated recent activity in Florida across county and municipal issuing bodies. State and local governments are actively sourcing landscaping materials, dune restoration plants, environmental planting services, and general horticultural products — work that belongs in higher-tier landscape or environmental UNSPSC codes — but the mismatch between the code's nominal scope and what is actually being bought suggests this code is not a reliable indicator of real procurement opportunity in this commodity space.
