UNSPSC 10212604: Live posey black eyed beauty calla

Live plant including the root ball of the posey black eyed beauty variety of callas

UNSPSC 10212604 Live posey black eyed beauty calla, a Commodity code, shows minimal alignment between its nominal scope and the work actually being solicited under it in recent state and local procurement. The recent opportunities block contains five distinct solicitations posted between January and June 2026, none of which involve procurement of live posey black eyed beauty calla flowers or plants of that species. Instead, the opportunities span IT and low-voltage infrastructure reconstruction, landscape and irrigation installation along roadways, coastal dune stabilization using native plantings, environmental restoration and invasive species management, and generic plant purchases without species specification.

The mismatch suggests this code may have been misapplied to opportunities in the source data or reflects a gap between the code's intended commodity definition and actual state and local buying behavior. No recent activity supports pursuing this code as a direct supplier of live posey black eyed beauty calla products to state or local government buyers. Agencies in Georgia, Florida, and Texas issued the five solicitations noted, but none target the specific plant variety the code names—they instead solicit landscape design and installation, environmental restoration services, or unspecified plant materials. Until a solicitation explicitly solicits live posey black eyed beauty calla by species, this code presents no near-term opportunity for vendors supplying that commodity.
