UNSPSC 10212405: Live white bouvardia

Live plant including the root ball of the white variety of bouvardias

UNSPSC 10212405 Live white bouvardia, a Commodity code, does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under it. The five recent opportunities span IT infrastructure reconstruction, roadside landscaping and irrigation installation, coastal dune stabilization planting, environmental restoration and monitoring services, and general plant procurement for a municipal fleet—none of which involve live white bouvardia specifically. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the source data or a code that sees minimal relevant activity at the state and local level in current procurement cycles.

The issuing bodies pursuing work under this code tag include county boards of commissioners (DeKalb County, Georgia; Pasco County, Florida; Collier County, Florida; Pinellas County, Florida) and a major city government (City of Dallas, Texas), with activity concentrated in Florida and Georgia. Opportunities posted between January and June 2026 span formal bids (IFBs), quick quote informal procurements, and RFPs with response dates ranging from February 2026 through July 2026. Given the absence of a clear connection between the Commodity code's stated scope and the actual work being solicited—which centers on landscape installation, native plant restoration, and general plant supplies rather than live white bouvardia—this code presents minimal relevance for vendors specializing in the specific product the code nominally covers. Firms should verify category assignment accuracy with procurement offices before pursuing opportunities tagged under this code.
